Gourmet has expanded to over 19 chapters throughout the United States and
Canada. We offer single persons in all age ranges the opportunity to share good
food, wine and interesting conversation in a wonderful, relaxed and
pressure-free atmosphere. |

2. How much does The Single Gourmet cost to join?
Your annual membership fee is $85.00. Our online
application payment process is completely safe and secure. Once you are a
member, the cost is $50.00 thereafter to renew your membership. |

3. Is there a minimum or maximum number of events I
have to attend? Once you join, you may attend as many or
as few events as you care to. It's always your choice! |

4. Can I try the Single Gourmet before I join?
Unfortunately no, most of our events sell out and we
feel it would not be fair to our existing members. |

5. What happens when I attend my first Single
Gourmet event? A Single Gourmet representative will
always be there at the door to welcome you, introduce you to fellow members and
give you your table assignment. Most events start with a social hour (with a
cash bar) where everyone mixes and mingles before dinner. |

6. How will I know what events are available? Each month we send our members a newsletter describing all the
events planned on Long Island and New York City. It will also keep you informed
of any news, changes and whatever else is going on in your club. You can also
check our Events page of the website, accessible only to members with their
login and password. |

7. How many events do you have a month and how many
attend? On an average we host 4-5 events a month, with
approximately 40 to 100 attending depending on the size of the restaurant. As
the membership continues to grow, so will the number of events a month. |

8. How do I reserve for events? It's never been easier to reserve! You can call us at (516)
897-8448, e-mail us, reserve online or fill out this reservation form and mail
it to us. Just remember, whichever way you choose, all events must be reserved
and paid for at least one week in advance. |

9. How do I pay for an event? Either mail us a check or provide us with a credit card number
and we will bill you. All credit card transactions are secure. If you are
mailing us a check, please call us to reserve first and remember payment must
be received at least 7 days prior to the event. |

10. What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations are cheerfully accepted up to one week before an event for a
credit against a future event, less a $5.00 handling charge. Less than one week
may result in no credit, unless we are able to replace your reservation. |

11. Can I come alone to an event? Most of our members come by themselves. There will always be
someone there to greet you and introduce you to fellow members. |

12. Can I bring a guest? Yes, of course, provided that you are a member and space
permits. There is a non-members surcharge, usually $5.00 - $10.00 . |

13. Can I make special requests? Yes, just let us know in advance and we will make every
effort to accommodate you, from special dietary needs to sit down requests.

14. Can I participate in The Single Gourmet outside
of New York? Yes, your membership will be honored at
all of our branches. If you plan to travel, just consult our monthly newsletter
(or the website). Each one lists all the other branches. |

15. How can I get the most out of the Single
Gourmet? Be realistic in your expectations. We are not
a dating service, but an opportunity to meet lots of interesting, intelligent
single people just like you. Try not to anticipate meeting that special someone
at your first event (although it has happened!) and just enjoy discovering new
and exceptional experiences of fine dining, while making new friends! |

16. Is there a code of conduct? Yes. We reserve the right not to renew a membership at its
expiration date or terminate any membership at any time. In the event that a
membership is terminated during its term, a prorated amount will be refunded.

17. What if I join and feel that Single
Gourmet is not for me? We offer this guarantee: If you
join Single Gourmet and if, after attending at least two events within the
first 60 days you discover that our group isn't right for you, we will refund
your membership fee minus a cancellation charge. |
